It’s hard to believe that it’s already November. How the year has flown by! As we enter the holiday season, it is time to start planning for 2026. Toward this end, I hope you can join us for the event planning session this Thursday November 6th. Come for the free pizza, camaraderie, and bring your event ideas to get them on the calendar!

As you are likely aware, our charitable focus this year has been focused on providing scholarships to students pursuing degrees in the automotive field. We hosted a number of students at our last autocross event at Thunderhill, and a great time was had by all! Fundraising has been our focus, and thanks to the leadership of Abe Kazimierek, we hosted a wildly successful Charity Golf Tournament on October 27th, exceeding our fundraising goal by over 100%! For any club, SVR included, communications is a mainstay of providing visibility to club activities. While we strive to improve our social media presence, we have had more of a focus on Facebook than Instagram. You can expect to see much more balance moving forward, thanks to a generous offer from Chris Forster to lend a hand. Chris is very engaged in the Porsche community and very skilled at generating video content. You can see his work on the Porsche Rocklin/Sacramento Instagram pages, as well as the video he produced for the Charity Golf Tournament for SVR. Look for great things to come!
