Hello Zone 7,

Boo!! . It’s October .

Finishing up September and still more Oktoberfest activity in the works. I do hope you celebrated well. “Ein Prosit”

Autocross, Concours, Breakfasts, Anniversary celebrations, Dinners & Tours were all on my list of fantastic events.

Special shout out to David Bunch, the Zone 7 Social Media Chair, who was very busy and had lots of fun in the “9th” month. The posts he maed covered MANY of the Porsche car model numbers, from 901 to 930 and all the #s in-between, even highlighting transmission generation numbers as well.

Many of the Regions are or will be holding their officer elections. Let your team know if you are interested in a position, maybe that starts by helping with an event or joining a committee. I do ask that you make your voice heard and be a part of that. The PCA saying “Fueled By Volunteers” really hits home when you see what all those who raise their hand can accomplish.

2024 DE Schedule

• 10/11/2024 – PCA Diablo, Thunderhill 3-mile
  • • Tech Inspections for non-race cars are required to be performed within 30 days of the event by a qualified service location. The following sponsor is offering free tech inspections:
      • Kahler's in Dublin – by appointment only, contact them
        at service@kahlers.com or by phone at 925.829.2050
    • DE 101/201 – Drivers are invited (strongly recommended) to attend our DE Introduction briefing called DE 101/201 which will be scheduled approximately two weeks before the event. Check back here for the time and location of the
    • DE101/201. There will be a discussion on driving Thunderhill Raceway and an opportunity for drivers of any level to share their experiences, ask questions, etc.

• 11/1/2024 – PCA CCCR, Buttonwillow — EVENT CANCELLED
