    Happy New Year!

SVR is kicking off the new year with new branding! Our new logo. Our logo is more than a graphic; it’s a shared symbol that shows up on badges, banners, newsletters, and club gear.
As SVR continues to grow and show up in more places (especially online), we wanted a mark that stays unmistakably “SVR,” while looking crisp, consistent, and readable everywhere it appears.
This update keeps the spirit of the region intact, while improving clarity, scalability, and versatility—so versions will work as well on a phone screen as it does on a grille badge.

SVR is run by volunteers. In this regard, I would like to announce the appointment of Eduardo Ortega Jr. as our new Social Director, as well as our new Drifter Editor! Huge shout-out to Eduardo for taking on the two important roles.

As social director, Eduardo is charged with ensuring we have an active calendar of social events. If you are interested in hosting a dinner, lunch, or other social event, please reach out to Eduardo at social@svr-pca.org. He will gladly assist you in everything required for hosting such events.

And, as Drifter Editor, Eduardo will be responsible for the timely delivery of our monthly Drifter e-publication. Our goal is to have this delivered following our monthly board meeting. This January issue has been delayed due to our transition, but you can expect us to return to our normal cadence in the coming months.

I encourage you to follow SVR on our social media channels Instagram and Facebook. Thanks to the valued contribution of Chris Forster, you can expect to see much more powerful and engaging content as we seek to expose the value of PCA membership to all segments of the Porschephile community in the region!
