SVR sold out the largest theatre available at the Studio Movie Grill in Rocklin for the private showing of Brad Pitt’s F1: The Movie.  Thanks to Porsche Rocklin for bringing the 911 GT3RS to display out front that garnered not only member attention but those of the large crowd attending other movies within the theatre that night, and Linda Duste and Tina Talamentes for checking everyone in.   Since there were no assigned seats, folks showed up early.  The theater allowed us to put a 200 slide continuous loop slideshow of members participating in events this year on the big screen to entertain while waiting for the movie to begin. Memorable lines such as “Plan C for Combat” and “Hope is not a strategy” will be remembered long into the future but no one was better fitting for our group than “Drive with a purpose, or don’t drive at all”.
