I have had requests from Members to access past routes so they can drive one of them. We have been using Ride-With-GPS (RWGPS) now since I took on the role of Tour Chair. We subscribed to a Club Account for SVR in 2024 so that all members could access the online version and take advantage of the turn-by-turn direction on their phones at no charge. We have over 258 members that have been granted access to the Club site. Previous routes that we have run within RWGPS since January 1, 2024, are stored in the Club’s site under the COLLECTIONS tab. There are over 36 saved routes. Those that have signed up for RWGPS access can access them at any time. How do I get into one of the earlier driving tour run groups you ask?

For the most part, the spirited groups go first so as not to overtake the other groups. Within each of the two categories, spirited and non-spirited, I begin with listing them by the order of registration. So, early registration gets you earlier in the queue. Not a guarantee, but that is where I start. Put Sunday November 15 on your calendar. The annual Club planning session (and by default annual meeting) will be at 5:00 at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville. Complimentary pizza, salad and refreshments will be provided. This is the time to meet the incoming officers for 2027-2028 term, learn a little about the Clubs organization and finances, provide input regarding future events or activities you would like to see, and socialize with your fellow members.
